"I HAVE BEEN TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP."

The mission of MLK Celebration of Terrell, Inc. is to honor, uphold and promote the legacy and ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr by supporting our youth with college scholarships, by hosting a free community-wide celebration on MLK Day, and by working cooperatively with diverse community organizations in creating a community where all lives are valued and protected.

Scholarships

MLK Celebration of Terrell, Inc. awards college scholarships to graduating Terrell High School Seniors. We select students based on the "content of their character," students who have embraced Dr. King's ideals of community service and dedication to education, and who show financial need.

Students should contact their counselor to apply.
